The Kids and I love attending all the basketball games at Dixie. We have a lot of fun making posters, getting autographs from the players, Cheering for our teams, and most of all getting to see Dad! Jeff spends a lot of nights down at the arena and at least its a fun place to visit with him at work! You know we are a Dixie State family our closets are full of RED!

It Snowed In St. George

The Homer & Cluff Kids!

The kids woke up to snow! It was a perfect day, they were out of school and got to play outside in it all day. And it even stuck to the ground for a few days! Rare cases of snow living in St. George. But we enjoy it when it does make a surprise visit!

Even uncle Jeffy came down to help roll the snowmen! Parker made his BatWars guy and of course Kennedy made hers a Snow Princess.

Porter just spent the day following Husker (He calls him "Hucker")around! What ever husker did Porter did! Including some puddle drinking! Yucky!!!! Boys will be boys!

Parker's 6th Birthday

He had a very fun day which started at school. He received a birthday bag and got to bring his favorite treat to school. He brought TWINKIES! Funny kid he is! Later that afternoon Parker's adopted aunts Angie& LaNay took Kennedy and him Laser Tagging! They had a Blast!!! Then we topped the night off with dinner at Wingers and then headed home for cake and ice cream. And of course don't forget the presents!

Parker has never had a friend party and since we just moved into a new neighborhood we thought it would be fun. He had a pirate theme and it was great! All the kids loved it!

Disneyland

November 11-15, 2010
We got the awesome opportunity to go to CA to watch Dixie State Mens Basketball Team play in the Disney Classic. While we were there we had to go to Disneyland of course!!!! But this time was a little different Jeff's parent went with us and his sister Julie and two of our nieces. We did a lot of fun things and had a great time! It was also fun to go around this time because all the Christmas decorations were up. We love seeing the castle lit up this time of year!

Porter turned 2 on Halloween! He is a bright boy with LOTS of SpUnK! He is a always busy and I couldn't think of our lives without him!

Trick or Treating was a riot this year! Our neighbors own a business where the sell and maintain golf carts so they let us use one for the weekend! It was a blast trick or treating through the neighborhood on a golf cart. Thanks Jana and Aaron! Anyway the kids had such a fun day with family and friends!

The newest edition to the Moody family is Carlye Watts! And we are so happy to have her!

Kennedy got to go to see THRILLER with uncle Jeffy! And they went dressed as Harry and Miss Granger!

Kennedy's Trip to Florida with Aunt Julie & Uncle Justin......9/18-23/2010
Kennedy got the opportunity to go to Florida with my sister and her husband Justin. Justin's Sister was going and invited them. Julie and Justin invited Kennedy because Justin's nieces are about that same age. And they thought the girls would have fun together and they did! They has a great time! They went to Disney World and Harry Potter World! Kennedy had a blast! I was worried she would get homesick without mom and dad but she did great. I guess Julie and Justin kept her so busy she forgot about us! lol Anyways Thank you Julie and Justin for the amazing trip! P.S. I was JEALOUS that they didn't take me but HAPPY :) for Kennedy she got that experience! Lots of pictures from their trip!

Ward Camp Out
The kids and I went to the ward camp out out with the our neighbors the Homers. It was a lot of fun. The kids played in the creek and caught crawdads and frogs. I swear we cannot go anywhere without catching some sort of critter! We ate yummy dutch oven potatoes and pit roast! We didn't camp overnight because Kennedy was going to Florida the next day and we had to get her home to pack. It was a fun night. Would have been better if Jeff was with us!

SOCCER
Parker has had a blast Playing soccer this season. He was even lucky enough to get a few classmates on his team. He has really enjoyed Soccer and he really, really enjoys going to get swig (Our Fav Drink Shop) after his games!

Happy Birthday Julie! We Celebrated by going to see FireHouse in concert. It brought back some Millard High memories for me! LoL Slow dances Baby! It was a blast though!Sorry some of the pictures are not that great!

We decided last minute to go to Sand Hollow with the Homers instead of staying home and finish unpacking and organizing the garage. which I am glad we did! It was a Blast!!!! They are such a fun family to be with!

FOOTBALL The Kids Love Dixie State Functions! I guess you could say it is Home away from Home! This happened to be the Homecoming for Dixie. The Kids love sitting with Whitney, Carlie, Brett, Bree and Berkley. We have lots of fun cheering Dixie on!

For the Moody Reunion we went to Cedar City up by Navajo Lake. It was a little rainy but the weather ended up cooperating and it turned out really nice! Gorgeous Scenery! Great to catch up with all the cousins!

The Hammock is one of my dad's favorite things to bring camping. I think it is so he can lay in it with the kids. They love it!

Rich is always building fires when we are camping. The kids always know WHO to ask!

My Boys are little crazy people. Porter is non stop all the time. And as for Parker he is my little quiet collector. He carries a tackle box everywhere he goes with all his treasures. They are always silly together!

They had little Arts and Crafts for all the kids and they made rock people. Can you guess who Kennedy choose to do? One of her favorite's-Grandpa Jon

Kennedy is my little Animal Lover! She loves the outdoors and she always has some sort of bug or creature she is taking care of.

We had a great time in Tropic staying at the Bed and Breakfast. We got to celebrate Grandma's birthday and visit with the all Family. And it just wouldn't be a trip to Grandma's and Grandpa's without taking the boats to Pine Lake to fish. I know my uncles hate a using their boats but they always put up with us! Thanks Uncle Les and Uncle Clark! We have so much fun laughing and messing around! I am really surprised one of us hasn't drowned! All in All fun trip!

Well we got all moved in finally! We still are unpacking but that will take a while to get everything put away and organized. I just want to thank our families for coming to help us move. Well all summer Kennedy has been reading all the Beverly Cleary books. She has been dying to see this movie! So on Tuesday I took Kennedy and Parker to meet up with Aunt Julie at the movie. I thought it was so funny! It was a really cute, clean movie. Parker thought Ramona was the girl version of Dennis the Menace. It was casted perfectly too! Joey King and Selena Gomez even looked like real sisters! Throw in a little Josh Duhmel how could you go wrong! Our family loved this movie! I'd even Pay to see it again!

Jeff is in San Francisco at some work meetings and got to go to the A's vs. The Yankees. Sorry these pictures are not so great I took them with my phone of the TV. Jeff sat behind the plate on the fourth row. So if you were watching the game you probably saw him. He waved to the kids and got into some trouble. The TV people radioed down to security! Oops! It was fun to watch the game it felt like we were there with Jeff! And fun to watch with my dad because he was sooo jealous it was hilarious! Shout out to Potter too! He went to the game also!

Well today started not so good because Jeff had to leave out of town for some work meetings and the kids were pretty disappointed that their Dad would not be here to celebrate the day with them. So I was determined not to let them down! We ended up eating hot dogs for lunch and making homemade ice cream (Yummy!). And Kennedy wanted to do this hairdo that we saw on Good Things Utah the other day (The Firework do!). Funny Huh! Then we painted toenails and fingernails. Kennedy really got into the Patriotic Spirit! And then to top off the Night we got the best view in town to Watch the Firework show. Thanks to the Leavitts for being out of town! Oh by the way another highlight was we got to hang out with my good friend Whitney (who we don't see enough). She is always a good Sport! And thanks to my brother Jeff who loves to spend time with me and the kids. Always a big help when Cluff isn't around! All in all the day didn't end up so bad but we still MISSED our DAD! We love you Jeff!

Just wanted to share an awesome opportunity with my family and friends! For the last 5 months I have been participating in this food co-op where it is all volunteer basis and you get wonderful produce for a cheap price. It is called Bountiful Baskets. You get 2 pretty full baskets a time (a fruit side and a veggie side). My family has just loved having fresh produce all the time! Some of the reasons I like it so much is there are always different things to try and a great variety of produce. I have liked it so much that I have been volunteering as a back-up coordinator at one of the sites here in town. It has been so fun to be involved in the community and get out of the house for a bit. It is quite the process unloading Fruits and Veggies and distributing them to all the participants baskets! But the end result is AWESOME!!! My # 7 Picture is Half the basket because I usually share with my parents every week to split the weekly cost. So we can have fresh food every week! I just thought I would post some pictures so that those who have been asking me about it could see the process. By the way if you do participate and don't volunteer you should! We are ALWAYS looking for more volunteers! By the way Dad- Thanks for all your help when it my week!

This weekend we had the opportunity to head down to L.A. to see my brother Pat get married. We had a lot of fun being together. It was really neat to see the temple. After the temple they had a little luncheon at the Santa Monica Pier at a little place called Marisol's right on the ocean. The kids had a fun time after going to the Arcade and riding the ferris wheel with the bride and groom. All in all it was a really nice day!!!

Parker recently graduated from his preschool. He had a cute program that the kids sang all their favorite songs from throughout the year. They did a fantastic job! Parker got a little embarrassed a few times-Let's just say that public performances are NOT his thing! We had a lot of fun at his special day. We are so proud of him. And although he will miss his teacher and friends he is very excited to start kindergarten.

This year for her birthday she chose to have her birthday in the the basement of the Burns Arena at the college. She invited girls from her school class. All 2nd graders! (I am Crazy!) She decided she wanted to do a PJ theme (minus the sleepover). We had the girls come dressed in their PJ'S and bring pillows and blankets. They decorated pillowcases and played games. One of the highlights was a movie with popcorn. It was so great to see all their little personalities come out as they danced and lip synced! They had a really fun night!

Camping at Panguich Lake-It was COLD! Thanks to our good friends the VEATERS for letting us use their trailor and showing us a good time-4-wheeling,scouting deer and elk and roasting starbursts! We love you guys! Always fun times!!!!

The LeFevre Reunion was held in Tropic at my grandparents B&B. We hiked and fished and ate lots of good food! Thanks Uncle Clark for the great Reunion!

Just imagine the laughs that go on in the boat with all of us! Oh and by the way I caught the BIGGEST fish that day!!!!! Rich's excuse he had gas on his hands!!!!

The CLUFF reunion was held in Park City. We had a great time spending time with Jeff's Family. Jeff and Kennedy went to Lagoon and we went swimming a lot. And the kids had a great time spending some time with their cousins. Thanks John and Carol for the great time.

This happened Jeff broke his Knee Cap! He was pitching when he caught a ball and planted his foot to throw to first when he felt a pop! pop!. He thought oh no! He dislocated the knee cap and in the mean time going in or out his knee cap broke. OUCH!!! Him getting ready Surgery! He is in good spirits!

Jeff was in a straight leg knee brace for 2 1/2 months. No driving. Try being his TAXI with his busy schedule!

UPDATE- Getting better each day. Lots of Physical Therapy! Thanks to Rick and his team! He is still in his brace but he is bending it and can now drive!

Parker and his fascination with sending Uncle Jeffy balloons to Argentina he is highly convinced that Jeff gets every one he sends to him. Every time Parker gets a balloon, usually from Robert's or numerous restaurants we go to.The first thing he does when we get home is jumps out and let his balloons go and watches them go in to the sky.

He also likes to write little letters on them.

David Archuleta Came to St. George to perform and we were lucky enough to be able to go thanks to Jeff for working @ DSC. Thanks Babe for the Tickets!!! Kennedy, Julie, My Mom, And I went for a little G.N.O.! We had a great time! We had fun screaming and jumping around with all the little girls!

David sang his whole album "Crush" plus showed his vocal chops singing "My Hands," adding an a cappella ending. He also performed an unreleased track, a club-worthy "Zero Gravity." He sang a medley of U2's "One," Des'ree's "You Gotta Be," Sarah Bareilles' "Love Song" and Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours." He also performed "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi's song "To Be With You."

Kennedy turned to me in the Middle of the concert and said "Mom he's HOT!" I was like holy cow! Not this young! lol

Originally to close the show he sang his first hit single, "Crush," then David came out for a curtain call to a chorus of cheers. He then finished on the keyboard with Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles," which he said was the first song he learned to play.

I just wanted to post how excited I am the new season started! Jeff and I stayed up late to watch it and LOVED every minute! The new judge loved her! Simon loved him (he is so Mean!)! Paula and Randy loved them too! We love American Idol. I know totally pathetic to get so excited over a show. But it is one my hubby will watch with me. So it is always a good time!

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas after 9 years of marriage Jeff and I decided it was time to stay home for the holidays. So on Christmas Eve we went to Jeff's cousin Steve's house for dinner, Santa and a white elephant exchange. We had a lot of fun!!! Thanks Steve and Tana for having us! Then we went home to have Christmas Eve with the kids. It started with a later dinner of pasta, sparkling cider, and cake. Parker called it a "Family Date! Then we opened Pjs and My grandma had made some cute quilts for the kids so they got to open those. Then we played games and read stories, put out the stockings and cookies and went to bed. Christmas Eve was really fun! I loved staying home and starting our little traditions with our kids. And it was fun intermixing traditions from both sides of the family. eNJOY the slide show!

I know it has been a while since I posted but getting use to three kids is a little tricky. But I think I am holding down the fort ok! Well on to the update:

I want to thank everyone who has helped out with the kids, came to visit us, brought meals to our family, and everything else. We really appreciated everything and are truly grateful for a Wonderful Family and Great Friends. We are so Blessed!!!!
Halloween- Well Jeff and I headed to the Hospital around 1:30 Thursday night which threw a Kink in all the holiday festivities. Kennedy's parade, Her class party, and Trick or Treating that night! Jeff I don't think minded so much but, for a girl who was born in October on Friday the 13th, LOVES Halloween!!! I was so sad to miss out But, I got a wonderful surprise instead! Thanks again to all those who filled in for me (Mom for being with Kennedy and Abby for Kennedy's cute Hair do! (Sorry for the early phone calls)). I think the kids costumes turned out so cute!!! My mom made Kennedy's cute dress. And if you don't know who Fancy Nancy is-Look it up! Every little girl should own these books! Batman was so cool too! Parker is a little shy so when he put on his mask he thought he was INBISABLE!!!
And to my Family: Jeff, Kennedy ,Parker and Porter Thanks so much for all your Help. I Love you guys very much! You're the Best Family a mom could ask for! After having some late nights and early hours and it has been 4 years since my last can you blame me for being just a little Crabby!

Good-Bye long hair! I had decided a few months back
that I would grow my hair out until it was time for the baby
and then I would cut it off and donate it. So I did it all right!

Can I just say I love the time of year when dancing with the stars comes on! Even Jeff will watch with me. This season has been very interesting and it has just begun! The 82 year old woman come on! I think this will be a very crazy season!!! I think I need to limit Parker's viewing of the show though. He was sitting on the couch with Jeff and I and every pretty girl that came on he would say "Mom that girl hot!" Well Brooke Burke came on and he turned to Jeff and said " Dad, that girl FREAKIN Hot!" I think he has a thing for brunettes and of course Jeff turned to Parker and said "I think so too!" I was really funny though! What 3 year olds say!

Family Update

I know! I know! It has been a while since I updated my blog and I am really sorry about that, I think that there was so much to update everyone on that I got overwhelmed with updating it! And pregnancy does not add to the motivation to do it! Well we have been on a world wind since the 4th of July. Jeff and I and my brothers Pat and Rich went to Chicago to see the Cubs play we saw 5 games and did some sightseeing there. We are trying to make it a family tradition every summer. I love Chicago!!!

We also made a quick trip out to Kirtland, Ohio to see Jeff's parents who are serving a mission out there. We had lots of fun visiting the church sites and Amish towns. We also got to see Jeff's brother Mark and his family which was so awesome to spend time with them because it is not very often we we get to do that! I could have done without the 10 hours of flying though! But it was worth it!

We got home on that Thursday and turned around to go camping for a Family Reunion in Torrey. It was so fun! The kids love to camp! We even got to go fishing and even caught a few big ones! Two of my favorite things to do Camp and Fish! I'm Serious!
We have had a busy August with the reunion, family visiting, and school starting. Can you believe my baby is in 1st grade. Kennedy is LOVING school and loves her teacher, we are still getting adapted to school lunch but we are working it out and the bus is still a little tricky! But i have to admit all day school is awesome!!! It has been so fun having Parker home by himself . He is really coming out of his shell especially because Kennedy isn't here to do all the talking!

September is starting to slow down a bit but, not much! The kids started soccer and Jeff is starting his busy season. As for me still Pregnant, Ornery and trying to revive from the summer. Trying to catch up on the scrap booking a bit! Trying is the Key! I hope all is well with everybody and I will post some pictures later.

It's A Boy!

I think it's pretty clear!

It's Another Boy and we could not be happier. Parker has known this whole time because when we would ask him "What is in mommy's belly?" His reply was always "My Baby Brother!" He told his Uncle Pat there was a baby in my belly before I even knew I was pregnant and when Pat asked me I was like no way! It amazing how little kids just know! I think Kennedy was a little disappointed that it was not a girl until we told her she was the princess of the family. And as for Parker as sure as he was I was getting worried that it was a girl, so I asked him "What if mommy is going to have a baby sister?" He said "I will HATE it!" So then I was really worried. And Parks other request is that His brother's name is going to be Jack Sparrow. I am not so sure about that one!

Alright here it is! I hope you are all ready for this. My world as I know is about ready to be rocked! I mean turned upside down!!! Here I am 12 weeks pregnant, New Home Owner, and just joined the MWDVC (mommies who drive vans club)! I am really excited to have another baby (We were trying to get into our house first. Not QUITE what we planned!) Excited for the house! NOT Excited to pack, move, paint, and carpet the new house! And try to fit all this in Jeff's busy schedule. It will be tricky but I think we can do it! I'll update more later with pictures!

Jeff finally had the time to teach Kennedy to ride her bike. After months of bugging him to take off her training wheels he finally taught her. She did awesome! With only a few wrecks and bruises she learned really quite quickly. I was really shocked how well she did. I AM SO PROUD OF HER!

Summer was down for the weekend visiting us and staying warm in the sun. It was really fun because Parker went to Fillmore with Poppy and Jeff was in Cedar umpiring games at SUU, So it was pretty much a girls weekend! We kicked it off by grabbing pizza and heading over to get pedicures. Kennedy was so excited because it was her first time. We all got hot pink toes with cute Flowers! We topped the night off with dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then went to the movies. It was a really fun weekend!

Lucky Number 8

Parker picked up one egg at the city easter egg hunt this year and inside the egg was a slip of paper with the number eight on it. It told us were to turn it in. As we were walking over to turn it in we saw a table with games, bubbles, and a few small toys and we were thinking how cool it was that he had won one of these cool prizes. We turned in the slip and the man there pulled out this Red Tricycle! Parker was so excited he had won his own tricycle to ride. He was so proud of that thing! We will trust in the number 8 more often!!!

Coloring Eggs

Coloring Eggs is becoming quite the tradition. Parker and Kennedy had a really fun time dipping their eggs. Parker was pretty excited to see the eggs turn colors! Kennedy had to plan out what she was going to do and hers turned out quite creative.
